when i was in fifth grade i had a recurring dream, just at the early edge of sleep, where i would fall off cliffs. my arms once shot straight up in front of me as i dreamt. i think i scared the bejeezus out of my friend (i was sleeping over at her house and she was still awake...) and it woke me back up.
the hypnogogic falling syndrome? -
