I am practically obsessed with the events in Iraq. I don't think we out to be there because the casus belli was institutionally deceptive at the best and criminal at the worst.

(KAY-suhs BEL-y, BEL-ee) noun, plural casus belli

An action or event that causes or is used to justify starting a war.
